DigitalOcean is a cloud infrastructure provider best known for Droplets, its virtual private server product, plus managed databases, Kubernetes, and App Platform.

## Infrastructure

DigitalOcean runs its own global data center network across multiple regions, with Droplets provisioned on KVM-based virtualization.

Storage-Optimized and Premium Droplet variants use NVMe SSDs; Basic Droplets on the Regular CPU option use standard SSD storage.
