Purchased Hosting Evidence

At HostingGuider, transparency is an important part of building reader trust. This page documents hosting plans purchased directly by HostingGuider for Hands-On Purchase reviews, one of the three evaluation methods described on our Methodology page. It does not cover Provider-Provided Access reviews, since no purchase is involved there, or Research-Based reviews, which use no direct account access at all.

Not every article on HostingGuider requires a purchased plan. Educational guides, tutorials, statistics, and comparisons may rely on official documentation and our team’s research. But when we conduct hands-on hosting reviews, we aim to purchase the plan ourselves whenever practical.

Who Makes These Purchases

Every hosting plan, testing domain, or other paid item used for our Hands-On Purchase testing is bought personally by Shaddam Hossain, HostingGuider’s founder, using his own funds. This page updates as soon as a new purchase happens, not on a fixed schedule.

Our Testing Domain

We purchased the domain hostingguider.online for hands-on testing. Whenever we run hands-on testing, we use this same domain, with the same WordPress installation, theme, and plugin set, so results stay comparable across providers, regardless of when the underlying plan itself was purchased.

Domain purchased: August 23, 2026. This domain is used exclusively for testing and does not host any commercial content. Here is the proof screenshot below:

Why This Page Exists

This page demonstrates that our hands-on reviews are based on real customer purchases, not official documentation, promotional accounts, or customized review environments. For each provider, the table below shows the hosting plan, purchase date, and testing progress, with a link to that provider’s own section further down showing the purchase confirmation, invoice, and account screenshots, redacted per our sensitive-information policy. A plan’s purchase date and its testing start date can be different, we sometimes review a plan we’ve already been using as a real customer, so each evidence section below lists both. Not every provider currently reviewed on HostingGuider has a corresponding purchase record.

Purchase Records

Status definitions:

• Full Review: plan purchased, testing complete, and the review is published.
• Testing in Progress: plan purchased, testing still underway. The review for this plan isn’t published yet, we only publish once testing is complete, this row exists so the purchase itself is documented in the meantime.
• Provider-Provided Access: access given by the provider instead of a purchase, disclosed clearly. Not listed in this table, since no purchase was made.
• Research-Based: no purchase and no provider access. Review is based on published specifications and documentation, explained on Methodology.

Hostinger – Business Web Hosting

We purchased the Hostinger Business Web Hosting plan on December 3, 2024, billed for a 4-year term. We paid $113.28 USD after a discount off the $431.52 list price, and the plan renews February 3, 2029. Here is the proof screenshot below:

Hostinger – Cloud Startup

We purchased the Hostinger Cloud Startup plan on November 30, 2025, billed annually. The renewal price is $311.88 per year, next due November 30, 2026. Here is the proof screenshot below:

A missing row above doesn’t necessarily mean we haven’t covered that provider. It may be a Provider-Provided Access review, which involves no purchase, or a Research-Based review, which involves neither a purchase nor provider access. Our Methodology page explains all three evaluation methods.

Protecting Sensitive Information

Before publishing any purchase record, we remove or obscure information that could expose private account details, including billing address, email, phone number, customer ID, transaction ID, payment details, and account credentials. Only what’s necessary to demonstrate a legitimate purchase is shown.

Purchasing a hosting plan does not guarantee a positive review. Every provider is evaluated independently using the process described on our Methodology page. Our editorial decisions are never influenced by affiliate partnerships, advertising, complimentary products, or commercial relationships.
